October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and it's something that is near & dear to our hearts here. Six years ago my cousin was violently killed by her boyfriend. In honor of her, we will now be offering emergency storage free of charge for Salisbury residents in need who are experiencing partner abuse and must leave the relationship quickly. Personal details of the situation do not need to be shared with us and account information is always confidential. Simply mention "Sarah's Special" when arriving at the office and we'll set it up, no questions asked.

Here's an idea: A 5x5 storage unit is the perfect place to put it all! Fishing tackle, sand toys & beach chairs - oh my!
This little male dog has been seen around our storage facility, in our surrounding farm fields and our the woods out back. Looks to be a chihuahua and is VERY skittish, he runs frantically away when we try to approach him. We've been feeding him and trying unsuccessfully to catch him.
All the chrome in the Inlet tonight has blinded Barb! Good turn out so far this weekend. Be sure to say "hi" to George & Barb if you see them.
This week we proudly announce our arrival to 2015! We are now accepting online reservations AND are the only place in town that offers an option of completing the leasing paperwork via email. Everywhere else requires an office visit for the signature (which is sooo 2014). Really folks, it's true. Hug your kids! High five your friends! Call your Mom...! Seriously, we're pretty stoked. Our very first reservation even came in the morning we launched (and she was awesome). Now, who's next?
It's true, there's an official day for just about everything. Normally it gets on our nerves too, but since today is National Clean Out Your Garage Day we're all about it. So, if you're embarrassed to open your garage door this is your day for redemption. Bring that stuff you just can't part with (but can't stand looking at any more) to a storage unit here!

Today is a terrible reminder for our Nation of the violence and hatred some people are capable of. However, it's also a reminder that there are genuinely goodhearted people out there too. We send our sincerest thanks to all those amazing First Responders who selflessly rushed into the chaos to help. In the days, weeks and months following the tragedy a sense of unity among Americans arose from the rubble and we all became stronger. Sadly, that unity has long since dissipated. What better way to honor the memory of those who were lost than by bringing it back? We the people need to unify now more than ever. Let's make it happen!
