Many storage facilities today are owned by investor groups or managed by outside corporate entities, but that's not us... We are the Peters family. We're from the Eastern Shore and we own AND operate Airport Self Storage. Our start in the warehousing industry came back in 1986 on Kent Island when we opened the very first self storage facility on Delmarva. Now, here in Salisbury for over 20 years, with over 35 years of experience, tens of thousands of happy customers, and 3 generations in the business, it's safe to say: We know what we're doing and we're doing it well.

Get to know a little more about our family & crew... 

George: Owner, father, grandfather, husband, and private pilot. Among the many other things, he is also a United States Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran. While claiming to be “an old retired guy,” on any given day you may see him on the tractor cruising around the facility (he’s actually grading roadways), maintaining the buildings, or supervising our crew. When he's actually acting like a retiree, he enjoys walking trails with his wife, Barb, and their Great Dane, as well as people watching on the boards in OC.

Jessicah: Operations Manager. Since the age of 10, she's been involved with the family storage business. In her spare time Jess enjoys playing with their pup, Renwick; working in her sub-par flower gardens, camping, and most especially wandering the beaches of Assateague with Mike.

Jarrin: Office Steward (Absentee). He recently landed a Software Engineering position with Warner Bros and has flown off to do his own thing, but will forever remain part of our crew! Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music and catching up on the latest technology.

Mike: Ground Control (aka Fixer Of Everything Broken & Not). He’s always eager to help, with or without a smile. Okay, most often without, but don’t take it personal we’re pretty sure he’s happy on the inside.

Hope: Office Stewardess. Our newest crew member is fun & fearless and has quickly learned the ropes. When she’s not here taking your money, you can find her riding around town on her Can-Am or hanging with her favorite guy, Frankie.

Barbara: Family Manager. She has the patience of a Saint and keeps us all on track. She’s also an excellent cook and keeps us well fed. Win/win! If you smell pie or lasagna in the office, she made it! And if you ask nicely we might even share.
